Poorly Timed Fireworks
“He Yelled ‘I’M HEALING!’ Then Lit a Roman Candle in His Bathrobe.”
At precisely 3:06AM, Gavin Penrose celebrated what he described as a “breakthrough in emotional bandwidth” by launching fireworks labeled “Divorce Finale Deluxe” over his cul-de-sac.
“I finally let go of Susan,” he said. “And the HOA will have to let go of its noise expectations.”
Neighbors were less enthused. One schnauzer jumped into a koi pond. Another pet owner reported their cat spoke English for the first time–just to curse Gavin.
Gavin’s Facebook post read, “Healing isn’t linear. Sometimes it’s explosive.”
The local Pet Advocacy Alliance has since labeled Gavin “the pyromancer of pain” and is fundraising for anti-firework lawn signs and trauma counseling for guinea pigs.
Gavin now offers coaching under the name *Emotional Detonator*, specializing in “catharsis through sparkles.”
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
